Cancer is definitely not one of those diseases that one in a million people gets.
It is my reality and that of of 2.8 million breast cancer survivors.
This monster has yet attacked another extraordinarily special human being and treasured family member.
This hideous disease is no match though for this ladies amazing attitude, generous spirit, positive outlook and enormous WILL to work hard, honor herself and win.
Healing and the process continues tomorrow and although treatment and surgery will demand a lot of her for months to come, in the end,
nothing will weaken her WILL to live and continue embracing every sense of joy she has created in her life.
A life that is about living as well as possible, coping, accepting, maintaining gentle positivity, setting short-term, achievable goals
and drawing on the unconditional love and support from those closest to her.
The universe is rooting you on!
Cancer does not necessarily become a fight ~ a war.
It is simply our life ~ a life now raised to a higher power.
Hold your head up high and tell this beast “You lose”!
